What is Deep Play Therapy?
Deep play revolves around the idea of healing not only ourselves but also our immediate families, our children, our extended families, our ancestors, and even the culture and world we inhabit. It's about engaging in creative play, not necessarily to create something for sale, but to express and heal our souls simply for the joy of it, which is how all art originates and how artists begin their journey. Art is play, and so is Drama Therapy like Inner Parts work, Family and Systemic Constellations Inherited Family Trauma Healing, Altar and Sand Tray and embodied dream therapy. Deep play entails the exploration of our internal landscapes, hearts, and souls, creating new meanings and crafting art, beauty, and empowerment from what we discover.
As a Therapist and Guide, my commitment is to assist you in both your healing journey and reaching your full potential, enabling you to manifest the experiences and life you aspire to. I believe the most effective and efficient approach to healing incorporates a blend of physical strategies (lifestyle, habits, routines, diet, exercise, herbs and supplements, medications), psychological strategies (therapy, problem-solving, positive self-talk), relationship enhancement, and spiritual healing (finding meaning, purpose, values, meditation, prayer, connection with nature, and humanitarianism).
I also offer a unique hybrid of Somatic Sex Therapy and Attachment Science that many people are interested in. In the Sex Therapy realm, I specialize in supporting clients with sexual healing, becoming full body orgasmic and having healthy relationships and attachment.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?
In our sessions, we may explore topics such as your childhood, family, and ancestry. If you have an interest, we can also delve into areas like sexuality, spiritual ancestry, past lives, and or astrology. There may be moments when we slow down or pause, especially to manage trauma responses and nervous system activation.
This allows us to delve deeper into a subject or redirect our conversation towards a healing opportunity. Additionally, we may use movement and or sound in your session as tools to help you move stuck or negative energy out of your body so you can feel more embodied and alive. This can be part of our work together in online sessions as well as i have abundant experience with Somatic Therapy online.
