Sex Positive Therapy
is Transformational

I offer a unique hybrid of Somatic Sex Therapy and Attachment Science.

Using Attachment Science, I help individuals and couples heal the runner chaser, pursue withdrawal and insecure avoidant dynamic. I support singles to heal from heartbreak and divorce and enjoy dating. Using my knowledge of neurochemistry, hormones and biochemistry, I teach how to heal sexless marriages and reignite and sustain passion.

As a Somatic Sex Therapist, I treat sexual repression, low sexual desire, inability to orgasm as well as betrayal and infidelity, and sex, love and porn addiction. I also support those wanting to experience the MORE they sense is possible in the sensual and sexual realms and I teach spiritual sexual practices for those who resonate with sex and relationship as a path of awakening.

I help heal sexual and reproductive trauma including and not limited to painful sex or Vulvodynia, Endometriosis, abortion, fibroids, infertility and perimenopausal issues for women and performance anxiety, premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction and prostate issues for men among other things.

I also work with sexual orientation, trans, non-binary, gender transitioning and poly and kink lifestyles. I believe gender exists on a spectrum and we all have both feminine and masculine energies within us and our relationship to our own masculine and feminine energy informs not only our relationship to ourselves but also our relationships with others. Ultimately, we are spiritual beings beyond gender.

Many of us carry sexual traumas either from personal experiences or inherited through our lineage. Further, religious and cultural shaming around sexuality and pleasure has been going on for thousands of years and we all have a responsibility to heal this by doing our own sexual healing work with an experienced guide. Choosing to work with a therapist for sexual healing is a profound gift that you give to yourself and the world.

Out of The Box Therapy For
Out of The Box People

My journey as a Somatic Sex Therapist started over 20 years ago when I began my own sexual healing journey in a shamanic women’s circle focused on healing rape and childhood sexual abuse. I went on to study Tantra and Sacred Sexuality with many different schools including Source School of Tantra, Ipsalu Tantra Yoga, Quedoshka Native American Tantra and Agama Tantra Yoga in Thailand to name a few. I also did a year long Relationship and Tantra Coaching Certification.

I went on to practice and teach Tantra professionally for 18 years and I've helped thousands of individuals and couples have better relationships and sex lives. I also taught workshops on Female Sexuality with The Tantra ReEvolution Project (aka. The Tantric Circus), a collective of 2nd generation Source School Tantra Teachers based in the San Francisco Bay area. We traveled to teach and perform as far away as the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii.

I also have Clinical Sex Therapy training with one of the main ASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists) faculty as part of my Graduate Studies. At the time that i was in grad school for Clinical and Somatic Psychotherapy i was considering ASECT certification. However when i spoke with my ASECT Faculty graduate school  teacher about getting ASECT certified, she discouraged me from pursuing that clinical route. She assured me that i already had more than enough real world hands on education and experience through my career as a tantra and sacred sexuality teacher than i would receive in such a certification. She affirmed that in my case that particular certification was unnecessary and would be redundant. She said the certification mainly focused on helping clinicians overcome their personal judgments and sex negativity and she believed i had already done that personal and professional work.

I want to be clear that i very much appreciate that organizations like ASECT exist and train therapist to be sex positive and that i do attend ongoing training and conferences to stay up to date on the latest science and research in the Sex Therapy professional world and beyond.

I focused my graduate studies on sexuality, how we bond and Attachment Science. Attachment Science or Theory is a fascinating field because it offers evidence based ways of working with couples and individuals. I have helped so many couples have healthier relationships and successfully stay together. Older therapy models before Attachment Science and Emotionally Focused Therapy didn't address attachment styles and were and are not as effective in helping people in their relationships stay together and work things out. Couples therapy before Attachment Science was based on an unscientific Co-Dependency model where the advice was usually just to break up.

In the Sex Therapy realm, I specialize in supporting clients with sexual healing, becoming full body orgasmic and having healthy relationships and attachment.
