“Ancient beauty shall pour over the land. Primal beauty, beauty that shall stop the mind. Beauty from all Pastime, blended into the Now. Beauty of unprecedented splendor shall flow across the land.” - The Star-Stone ones by Marie Saint-Marie
The First Way: Become a Sacred Seductress
The Sacred Seductress Empress Archetype in my Archetypes of the Empowered Feminine relates to Sacred Marriage and sacred initiations of all kinds. The Empress embodies the sacred roles of lover, wife, and mother. Some manifestations of these are the Courtesan, a woman on her wedding day, and a pregnant goddess. Mastering this energy of Sacred Marriage starts with mastering your own Love Goddess energy or the archetype of the Courtesan, a woman who has mastery of the relationship and sexual realm. She is the Sacred Seductress, and men find her irresistible.
The Second Way: Embody and revere your nurturing Earth Mother energy
The Empress Sacred Seductress Archetype also relates to the sign of Taurus in Western Astrology and the sign of The Ox in Chinese astrology. This archetype is about mastery of the physical and sensual realms. The Earth Mother is one of the primary feminine archetypes and an energy to which all people, women and men and even animals are irresistibly drawn. It is the energy of nurturing, sustaining, and providing with feminine power and strength. We all need this sacred feminine energy within and without to survive and thrive.
In more ancient times, The Great Goddess was worshiped as the primary embodiment of the Divine and revered with sacredness and honor. In our modern culture which sees the Divine as masculine and often does not honor the earth or the Goddess, it can be all too easy to take this energy for granted within and without and become a workaholic or martyr. In order to embody this Sacred Seductress energy of the Empress, we must see our feminine power of nurturing as sacred and revere it in ourselves, others, and nature. We must honor our power to nurture ourselves and others as what sustains all life and culture and know it is an irresistible and Divine quality.
The Third Way: Learn how to actively receive
Receiving is a spiritual path to God/Goddess realization. The Sacred Seductress Archetype of The Empress is about bringing spirit into the physical and mastering beauty, intimacy, pleasure, and receptivity. It is about creating a Garden of Earthly Delights and making the physical realm so beautiful and pleasurable that our spirit cannot help but embody in our physical temple. Active Receptivity is irresistible to the masculine in all its forms including money and anything else you may desire.
The Fourth Way: Be An Epicurean of life and pleasure
Being an epicurean is about knowing and appreciating quality and having high self-worth. It is about really enjoying the ecstasy of the life force sexual energy while being discerning and discriminating about what you allow into your temple. It is about being present in the moment which is the key to receptivity as well as to enjoyment, ecstasy, discernment, and discrimination.
The Fifth Way: Use the power of gratitude and acknowledgment
Gratitude and appreciation are magical emotions that draw all kinds of good to us. Hardly anyone can resist buying something for a child who is ecstatic about receiving it or giving table food to the dog that is so excited about that piece of bacon! This is active receptivity in action and the power of gratitude. If someone graciously acknowledges you and praises you for what you bring to them you are more likely to be inspired to continue to do nice things for them and to give to them. Gratitude and acknowledgment are a spiritual law of attraction of good and are irresistible to a man when a woman offers it.
The Sacred Seductress Empress Archetype of The Empowered Feminine also relates to Early Summer, Beltane, and going “A Maying” or taking a new lover and dancing around the May Pole as well as Persephone or Kore’s Return from the underworld. It relates to The Maiden Archetype and Menarche, The Sacred Cow and Peacock, and to Goddesses like Hera, June, Hathor, Lakshmi, and Aphrodite. The question to ask yourself this time of year is what are you planting or what’s starting to bloom in your life?
Blessed be, dear ones. Stay in love and enjoy!
